The Southeast Regional Director, a Senior Director level position, will lead the regional team in restoring and protecting Southeast rivers through advocacy and on-the-ground projects like floodplain restoration and dam removal. This role involves managing staff, fundraising, overseeing projects and advocacy with coalition partners, and enhancing American Rivers' regional profile. The Director will be the primary manager and spokesperson for the Southeast region, requiring excellent communication skills, reporting capabilities, and proven conservation expertise. They will also contribute to the national Conservation team's strategy implementation. The position reports to the Vice President of Regional Programs.
