About The Position
The Regional Director of Resident Care (RDRC) serves as the clinical nursing leader for a regional portfolio of senior living communities. The role provides clinical leadership and oversight to ensure safe, evidence-based resident care across independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing settings. It drives quality, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence while developing community leaders.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) clinical nursing leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight through site visits, audits, and quality reviews.
- Lead Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate clinical risk while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Partner with Operations to support care delivery, move-in decisions, and billing accuracy.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard Resident Care Directors and key clinical leaders.
- Coach and mentor Resident Care Directors, Wellness Nurses, and Executive Directors.
- Analyze clinical data trends and implement regional improvement strategies.
- Support state or provincial surveys and plans of correction.
- Drive nursing retention and cost-effective staffing strategies.
