About The Position

Community First Solutions seeks a strategic and mission-driven Regional Director of Operations to lead operational excellence, performance, and resident experience across a growing portfolio of senior living communities. This high-impact leadership role partners closely with Executive Directors, clinical leaders, and organizational departments to ensure each campus consistently delivers exceptional care, hospitality, and operational performance aligned with our mission and values. The ideal candidate is an experienced multi-site operator who thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments and brings a balance of operational discipline, people leadership, and strategic thinking. This leader will serve as a critical connector between enterprise strategy and day-to-day execution — ensuring organizational standards are not only implemented, but sustained across every community we serve. In this influential leadership role, you’ll coach and develop campus leaders, strengthen operational systems, support growth and integration efforts, and drive meaningful outcomes that improve the lives of residents, families, and employees. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related field required
  • 5+ years of multi‑site leadership experience in senior living, long‑term care, or healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated success in operational performance, census growth, and financial management.
  • Strong understanding of multi‑state regulatory environments.
  • Experience supporting organizations through growth, change, or transformation preferred.
  • Financial acumen for budgeting, revenue management, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong operational acumen with the ability to translate strategy into action.
  • Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to coach, influence, and build trust.
  • Commitment to hospitality, service excellence, and resident‑centered care.
  • Highly collaborative, solutions‑oriented, and adaptable in a fast‑paced, growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day and strategic operational oversight for a multi‑state portfolio of senior living communities.
  • Ensure consistent execution of organizational standards, policies, and service expectations across all campuses.
  • Conduct regular on‑site visits to assess performance, coach leaders, and support operational needs.
  • Lead operational readiness and integration efforts for new acquisitions, expansions, and program launches.
  • Translate enterprise‑level strategy into clear, actionable operational plans for campus leaders.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and person‑centered care in alignment with the VP of Health Services’ strategic direction.
  • Monitor quality metrics and partner with clinical leaders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure each campus delivers a hospitality‑driven resident experience that reflects the organization’s mission and values.
  • Support the implementation of innovative care models and best practices across the region.
  • Own regional P&L performance, including census growth, labor management, and expense control.
  • Partner with Executive Directors on budgeting, forecasting, and financial action planning.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks — taking decisive action to improve outcomes.
  • Support payer mix optimization and revenue strategies in collaboration with finance and clinical teams.
  • Ensure all communities operate in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support survey readiness, audit preparation, and corrective action planning.
  • Identify and mitigate operational and regulatory risks with urgency and precision.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and proactive compliance.
  • Coach and mentor Executive Directors and department leaders to strengthen leadership capability and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Consultants on workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development across the region.
  • Reinforce organizational culture, values, and Always Behaviors through consistent leadership presence and modeling.
  • Collaborate closely with Health Services, Clinical Quality, HR, TA, Finance, Compliance, and Facilities to support campus needs.
  • Serve as a key operational partner to the VP of Health Services, ensuring alignment between regional execution and enterprise strategy.
  • Participate in organizational initiatives, committees, and strategic projects that advance operational excellence.
