About The Position
We’re recruiting for an experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee and help grow a group of veterinary hospitals throughout the greater San Diego area. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the business and people side of veterinary medicine and wants a role with real autonomy and influence. You’ll partner closely with hospital leaders and doctors while also helping bring new, state-of-the-art veterinary practices to life in the San Diego market.
Requirements
- Strong multi-site operator and people leader
- Comfortable balancing people, operations and financial performance
- Building strong relationships with doctors and hospital teams
- 5+ years of leadership experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- Experience in veterinary medicine or a similar healthcare/service environment
- Multi-site veterinary experience is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Lead operations across multiple veterinary hospitals in the San Diego area
- Coach and support Practice Managers and hospital leadership teams
- Partner with doctors to build strong, healthy and successful practices
- Drive financial and operational performance
- Support recruiting, retention and team development
- Oversee HR, budgeting, inventory, compliance and facilities
- Help develop and launch new veterinary hospitals in the market
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and the overall employee and client experience
- Partner with senior leadership on continued growth throughout the region
