About The Position

As the Regional Director of Marketing, you will lead marketing strategy, lead generation, and performance across an assigned Champion Windows regional territory. You will translate company growth objectives into market-level plans that deliver the right volume and quality of leads, align marketing investment with local sales capacity, and drive measurable growth across markets and channels. This role requires a senior, experienced marketing leader with broad, end-to-end marketing expertise across multiple channels and markets. You will operate both strategically and tactically, developing regional strategy while staying close enough to branch-level performance to identify issues, make decisions, and drive action. You will partner closely with the VP of Marketing, regional and local sales leaders, Inside Sales/Call Center teams, field marketing teams, Enterprise Marketing partners, and external agencies and vendors. Success requires strong performance and direct-response marketing expertise, disciplined use of data, sound business judgment, and the ability to align multiple stakeholders around clear priorities, decisions, and measurable results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field strongly preferred; master’s degree or equivalent graduate-level business education preferred.
  • Generally 10–15+ years of progressive marketing experience preferred, or at least five years operating at a Director level or with comparable scope and responsibility. Manager or Senior Manager candidates may be considered when their organizational scope, budget ownership, decision-making authority, and responsibilities are comparable to a Director-level role.
  • Broad, end-to-end marketing leadership experience required, including strong knowledge of performance marketing, direct response, lead generation, and the full lead-to-sale funnel. Experience should span multiple channels, ideally including offline/TV/radio, digital media, paid search/SEM, lead aggregators, and field/event marketing, rather than being concentrated in a single specialty.
  • Demonstrated experience managing significant marketing budgets, measurable performance, and competing priorities across a large, multi-location or multi-market organization, with accountability for KPIs, attribution, ROI, sales capacity, conversion performance, and local market conditions.
  • Proven ability to drive results at the individual branch or market level while setting strategy across a broader region, using performance data to identify underlying business issues, adjust investment and channel mix, and translate findings into practical action.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills, with experience partnering closely with Sales, Inside Sales/Call Center, Field Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Operations, agencies, lead providers, vendors, and executive stakeholders within a matrixed and geographically dispersed organization.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, analytical judgment, marketing analytics/reporting/CRM proficiency, and ability to travel approximately 25% are also required.

Nice To Haves

  • Home improvement industry experience strongly preferred and highly valued; candidates from closely related home-services, high-consideration consumer, direct-response, or lead-generation-driven industries may also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing and lead-generation strategy across the assigned region, translating enterprise priorities into clear regional, market, and branch-level plans aligned with growth goals, sales capacity, local market conditions, and customer needs.
  • Drive performance across a multi-branch region by monitoring dashboards, media analytics, field feedback, lead trends, and local performance; identify gaps and develop targeted actions by branch, market, or channel.
  • Balance broader regional strategy with the specific needs of individual branches and adjust plans as business conditions, seasonality, competitive dynamics, or sales capacity change.
  • Partner closely with regional and local Sales, Inside Sales/Call Center, Field Marketing, Operations, and Enterprise Marketing teams to improve performance across the full lead-to-sale funnel.
  • Maintain consistent feedback loops around lead volume, lead quality, appointment performance, sales capacity, conversion, and local market needs, and use those insights to adjust marketing plans, timing, channel mix, or spend.
  • Serve as a commercially focused marketing partner who communicates performance, risks, decisions, and resource needs clearly and builds alignment across a matrixed, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and Enterprise Marketing leadership to establish regional goals, forecasts, budgets, and investment priorities.
  • Manage significant regional marketing investment across offline, digital, and field/local channels, including television, radio, direct response, paid digital, search/SEM, lead aggregators, field/event marketing, and other lead-generation sources.
  • Evaluate tradeoffs and redirect investment based on market opportunity, lead quality, sales capacity, conversion, seasonality, cost, and ROI.
  • Direct and coordinate internal marketing resources, field marketing leaders, agencies, media partners, lead providers, and vendors; establish expectations, evaluate performance, and address gaps in execution, lead quality, responsiveness, compliance, or return on investment.
  • Monitor and analyze performance by region, branch, market, channel, vendor, lead source, and campaign across the full lead-to-sale funnel, including lead volume, quality, appointments, sales conversion, cost, and revenue impact.
  • Translate performance data into clear recommendations and action plans for Marketing, Sales, Inside Sales, and business leaders, then measure results and continue refining plans based on outcomes.
  • Share regional insights, lessons learned, and best practices to help inform broader enterprise marketing strategy and improve performance across the organization.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
