About The Position

This role develops and delivers the marketing strategy for North (primarily) and South America, supporting the local business strategy and commercial priorities while ensuring alignment with Boon Edam’s global marketing strategy and brand positioning. Acting as the key link between Americas leadership, Sales and Group Marketing, the role translates business priorities, customer needs and global initiatives into effective regional marketing programs, providing regional leadership and coordination across the Americas. Working closely with Sales and Group Marketing the role will build brand preference, generate qualified demand and support sustainable pipeline and revenue growth. This role manages the marketing function and team for the Americas, determines department priorities, agencies, vendors, budgets, and performance reporting to ensure marketing activities generate measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in B2B, industrial, manufacturing, building products, security, or a related technical market.
  • Strong experience in regional or field marketing, demand generation, account-based marketing or integrated campaign management.
  • Proven experience developing marketing strategies and annual plans aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Proven ability to manage integrated campaigns, budgets, events, product launches and sales enablement programs.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer relationship management, marketing automation, audience segmentation, lead management and marketing analytics.
  • Experience managing agencies, suppliers and cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate business priorities into effective marketing activity.
  • Ability to work effectively within a global organization and balance global consistency with regional market requirements.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Willingness to travel across the region and internationally as required: factory visits, trade shows, technology partner visits, sales / customer field interactions, strategic meetings and offsite events. Roughly up to 40%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the Americas marketing strategy and annual plan in support of the local business strategy, growth priorities and commercial objectives.
  • Define priority markets, segments, audiences, campaigns, budgets and key performance indicators.
  • Provide strategic marketing insight to Americas leadership and ensure investment is focused on the greatest business opportunities – Participate in Americas executive strategy sessions.
  • Translate key business priorities into clear internal communication plans to support understanding and engagement across the local organization.
  • Own trade show, conference, demonstration and customer event strategy including messaging, logistics, lead capture, post-event follow-up, budget management, and results reporting.
  • Act as the key connection between the Americas and Group Marketing, translating global strategy, campaigns and positioning into relevant regional activity.
  • Champion Boon Edam’s premium positioning and ensure consistent application of global brand standards, both internally and externally.
  • Bring regional needs and market insights into global marketing planning and development.
  • Ensure global brand, marketing and strategic initiatives are clearly communicated and understood across the local organization.
  • Lead regional demand generation and account-based marketing programs that support qualified leads, pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Partner with Sales to align marketing with priority accounts, markets and commercial opportunities.
  • Provide campaigns, content, communications and sales tools that support customers throughout the buying journey.
  • Ensure Sales teams are informed and engaged around key campaigns, propositions and marketing initiatives.
  • Work with Group Marketing to adapt global product positioning and go-to-market strategies for the Americas.
  • Coordinate regional product launches, campaigns, sales enablement and supporting internal communications.
  • Ensure relevant teams understand new product propositions, customer value and key messages ahead of market introduction.
  • Provide market feedback to support product positioning, development and future innovation.
  • Coordinate marketing across North and South America, ensuring efficient use of resources and investments
  • Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between Group Marketing, regional teams and local markets.
  • Manage agencies and partners where additional expertise is required.
  • Lead regional activation across content, digital channels, events, tradeshows, public relations and industry partnerships.
  • Work with Group Marketing to develop relevant thought leadership, customer stories, case studies and campaign assets.
  • Coordinate internal communications for key business initiatives, campaigns, events, successes and organizational developments.
  • Ensure communications are relevant, consistent and clearly demonstrate customer and business value.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customers, competitors, market trends and opportunities across the Americas, acting as the voice of the Americas within the wider marketing organization.
  • Monitor marketing performance, investment, lead quality, conversion and pipeline contribution.
  • Report results and key insights to Americas leadership, Group Marketing and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Use data and insight to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and inform future priorities.
  • Lead, coach, and prioritize the work of marketing staff; support hiring, onboarding, development, performance feedback, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strengthen collaboration between Americas leadership, Sales, Group Marketing and local teams.
  • Support leadership in communicating key strategic priorities across the local organization.
  • Share customer successes, business achievements and best practice to strengthen employee engagement and connection.
  • Help create a consistent understanding of the Boon Edam strategy, brand and customer value across the local organization.
