About The Position

American Career College (ACC) is seeking a visionary Regional Director of Career Services to provide strategic direction for career services operations across multiple college locations. This role is crucial for driving innovation, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards (ABHES, BPPE), and achieving exceptional student placement results. The position is part of a collaborative, student-centric culture that values academic integrity, respect, learning, service, innovation, diversity, and stewardship. The ideal candidate will contribute to a student's educational journey and grow with the college.

Requirements

At least five years of experience in a manager or above level position focused on career/student services management and career development administration and evaluation.
Experience in program/product marketing, employer/community relations, and fiscal and operations management at a corporate/divisional level or above.
Experience with the development and implementation of career programs.
Bachelor's degree in education, administration, business management, student affairs, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a specialty field.

Responsibilities

Developing and executing comprehensive career services strategic plans to meet college-wide objectives and achieve exceptional placement results.
Ensuring placement results meet and exceed ABHES, BPPE, and programmatic accreditation thresholds.
Driving innovation in placement strategies by incorporating emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership on placement trends, labor market analytics, and program viability.
Developing and implementing specialized placement strategies for distance education students to ensure equitable career outcomes across all learning modalities.
