About The Position

Healix Infusion Therapy, LLC is seeking a PRN Regional Coverage Specialist RN to join their nursing team. This role involves providing clinical services in specialty facilities such as infectious disease, gastroenterology, or allergy/asthma. The position is ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced environments and are adept at delivering infusion therapy using advanced technology. The role requires travel to various Office Infusion Centers (OIC) for staffing and training, acting as a preceptor, performing comprehensive nursing assessments, PIV and Central line care, patient teaching, medication administration, patient safety monitoring, and care coordination. Employees are expected to communicate clearly and professionally, cooperate with team members, adapt to changes, provide responsive service, adhere to policies, and manage protected health information in compliance with HIPAA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in nursing (ADN)
  • Recent intravenous administration and catheter management experience
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently at the site location, and in-partnership with the corporate clinical team, and within physician practice expectations
  • State Board of Nursing Licensed; active and unencumbered
  • Must possess valid basic life support (BLS) certification

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years’ experience working as a registered nurse in a clinical setting
  • Critical care or outpatient/homecare infusion experience
  • CRNI, VA-BC, OCN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Travels to various Office Infusion Centers (OIC) for staffing and follow up training
