About The Position

The Regional Compressor Leader provides daily support and troubleshooting assistance at Texas Gas and Gulf South locations, primarily in Louisiana and Mississippi. The role also manages capital and maintenance projects involving turbines, centrifugal compressors, and reciprocating engines. The work location will be one of the field or office locations within the specified geographic region.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in compressor station operations and maintenance, including slow-speed reciprocating engines.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of electronic controls.
• Strong computer skills.
• Proven leadership abilities and project management capabilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with company personnel and external contractors and share knowledge with others.
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• High school diploma.
• Must complete pre-employment drug and substance abuse testing.

Nice To Haves

• 10 or more years of experience in compressor station operations and maintenance, including turbines, reciprocating engines, and electric motor drives.
• High-speed compressor package experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of Oracle EBS for inventory, payable reporting, projects, and purchasing.
• Previous experience in project estimating, master service agreements, scope-of-work documents, and project scheduling.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
