Earthjustice is seeking law students for a summer law clerk position. The Northwest Office, established in 1987, focuses on preserving the unique natural resources and environment of the Pacific Northwest through campaigns protecting old-growth forests, salmon recovery, improving air and water quality, protecting Puget Sound, stopping fossil-fuel infrastructure projects, protecting farmworkers from pesticides, ensuring a just transition to clean energy, and responding to climate change. While the primary focus is on Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, cases often have national and international scope. Founded in 1971, Earthjustice uses the power of law and partnership to protect health, preserve natural places and wildlife, advance clean energy, and combat climate change, working on significant, precedent-setting cases across the country.
