About The Position

West Coast Trans Intermodal is seeking a dependable Regional Class A Driver with proven regional driving experience. The driver will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer with a Gross Vehicle Weight of up to 80,000 lbs., while ensuring timely, professional, and safe transportation of freight. This position does not require port terminal entry. Drivers will primarily run regional routes throughout the Western U.S., including Northern Nevada (Reno area), Arizona (primarily Phoenix, with occasional Tucson and Southern Arizona routes), Northern California, and occasionally New Mexico and Oregon. Drivers are typically home on weekends, depending on freight schedule, route, and customer needs. The primary freight is container freight, with occasional 53' dry van freight. Flatbed experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 years of Class A driving experience
• Regional driving experience required
• Ability to operate safely with freight up to 80,000 lbs. GVW
• Strong communication skills
• Dependable, professional, and safety-focused
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

• Clean driving record preferred
• Container freight experience preferred
• 53' dry van experience preferred
• Flatbed experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer on regional routes
• Transport freight efficiently and on schedule
• Properly track and document activity, mileage, and load information
• Communicate with dispatch regarding updates, delays, issues, or incidents
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain compliance with DOT safety standards and company procedures
• Handle equipment and paperwork professionally
