About The Position

PrimeSource Building Products is seeking a skilled Regional (Class A) CDL Driver to join their team. This role is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods to customer locations, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer service. Drivers will operate within designated service regions, potentially including overnight or multi-day trips. The company is a large distributor of building materials and values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices
• Ability to secure loads and handle physical job requirements

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in local and/or regional routes
• Transport materials using flatbeds, dry vans, doubles, or curtain side trailers
• Properly secure loads to ensure safe transit and prevent damage
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
• Load and unload materials as required
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams
• Work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require
