About The Position

In your role as a Class A Driver, you will be responsible for performing daily inspections on all safety sensitive equipment (trucks, forklifts, electric jacks, etc.) to be utilized in preparing and/or the delivery or orders as per the Occupational Safety & Health Administration and the Department of Transportation regulations. You will also be responsible for turning in proper paperwork to dispatch, keeping the truck clean, and operating all equipment in a safe and orderly fashion. Reporting any accident, unsafe conditions, or injuries immediately and maintaining a professional appearance are also key aspects of this role. Delivering orders to customers in a prompt, professional, and polite fashion, and providing a consistent, positive image of MTM Ventures, Inc., its executives, and employees to both in-house and outside public are essential. Utilizing proper company applications for job tasks such as Samsara, Slack, and Paylocity is also required.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
• Ability to safely drive various vehicles
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid CDL in accordance with insurance company requirements
• 2 years’ experience minimum
