About The Position
Drive regional routes from Greencastle, Pennsylvania, delivering Flexsteel furniture to retail stores. Drivers are home weekly and have weekends at home, with Monday–Friday or Sunday–Friday schedules and morning start times. Routes travel throughout the Midwest and Northeast, excluding deliveries to New York City boroughs. Drivers use assigned late-model sleeper trucks, tailgate products to the rear of the trailer, and occasionally use a furniture dolly. Average pay is $104,000 per year (approximately $2,000 per week), with compensation of $0.54 per mile plus $60 per stop and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Must be at least 22 years old.
- At least 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions.
- No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years.
- Must meet Clearinghouse and English-language requirements.
