About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Regional CDL A Delivery Driver to deliver food products to regional chain restaurants while building customer relationships. The role involves night shifts and regional routes, with drivers home most nights and one or two hotel overnights required each week. Drivers unload cases weighing up to 100 pounds and use a ramp and two-wheeler during their shifts. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply. The position offers a four-day work week, with schedules running Monday through Saturday and varying start times. Routes last one or two days, and GFS pays for hotel stays during required overnights. Compensation includes a guaranteed minimum of $1,250 per week, daily base pay, and pay for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered. Benefits begin on day one and include affordable benefit plans, wellness reimbursement, profit sharing, and a 401(k) with company match. Drivers are guaranteed a route and are paid weekly.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
Class A CDL license at hire.
One to two years of driving experience.
Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions.
Successfully pass a drug test and background check.
Clean driving record meeting Department of Transportation and Gordon Food Service standards.
Register through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.
