About The Position

The Regional Case Mix Director's objective is to assist assigned facilities in understanding, implementing, and enhancing the Case Mix system in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role is crucial for leveraging patient information to improve care delivery. Full-time benefits begin on the first day of the month following the start date.

Requirements

Skilled communicator, director, and motivator.
Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
5 years of nursing experience as an RN with primary focus in long term care.
Multi-site experience is required.
Current, unencunbered RN license in state of practice.
Minimum of five years management experience in long term care.
Experience in MDS completion, RAI experience, case mix reimbursement with reimbursement impact, and OIG survey process.
Proficiency in ICD-10 coding experience is required.
Good computer skills.
Must be able to travel extensively by air or car in assigned area; Some overnight travel is required.

Responsibilities

Plans and facilitates meetings and committees to address facility employee education.
Visits facilities at regular intervals as needed.
