About The Position

The Regional Business Office Manager (RBOM) is responsible for ensuring that programs receive high quality performance of business office functions. The RBOM has an indirect supervisory relationship to the Business Office Managers and Office Coordinators. The RBOM partners with the Program Administrators in providing support and training to business office personnel around oversight, monitoring, and compliance of financial policies and procedures. The RBOM provides support both on-site and remotely to all assigned programs. This position is not based out of a single office location. Candidates may reside anywhere within Sacramento County or surrounding counties and are expected to travel regularly to assigned programs for on-site support, training, and auditing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least one academic year of accounting units.
  • Five (5) years of related experience, preferably in business office, accounting, or financial operations, including experience with accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, journal entries, financial statement review, accruals, cost transfers, and use of accounting or billing systems such as QuickBooks.
  • The ability to function independently, work effectively with a wide variety of individuals, and maintain confidentiality of materials and information.
  • Experience delivering onboarding, procedural, or policy-based training to staff, with the ability to adapt content for various roles and learning styles.
  • Demonstrated organizational, time, and project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Applicants are expected to live within or in close proximity to their designated region.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)
