About The Position

The Regional Business Office Manager (RBOM) is responsible for ensuring that programs receive high quality performance of business office functions. The RBOM has an indirect supervisory relationship to the Business Office Managers and Office Coordinators. The RBOM partners with the Program Administrators in providing support and training to business office personnel around oversight, monitoring, and compliance of financial policies and procedures. The RBOM provides support both on-site and remotely to all assigned programs. This position supports programs throughout the Los Angeles, Central Coast, and Kern County regions. Candidates must reside within the assigned coverage area and be able to travel to all program locations as needed. Regular travel throughout the region is required to provide on-site support, training, and auditing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least one academic year of accounting units.
  • Five (5) years of related experience.
  • Ability to function independently, work effectively with a wide variety of individuals, and maintain confidentiality of materials and information.
  • Experience delivering onboarding, procedural, or policy-based training to staff, with the ability to adapt content for various roles and learning styles.
  • Demonstrated organizational, time, and project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Applicants are expected to live within or in close proximity to their designated region.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.

  • Fingerprinted, sign under penalty of perjury that there has been no conviction of any crime, other than minor traffic offenses and receive clearance from the Department of Justice.
  • Successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
  • If the position requires driving, valid driver’s license, a motor vehicle clearance and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.
