Requirements

  • Documented success proactively managing P&L.
  • 5+ years’ experience of proven strategic and tactical business leadership evaluating and implementing comprehensive customer service and sales programs and initiatives.
  • 3+ yrs outside B2B sales experience. Industrial distribution preferred.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Demonstrated background in talent management and associate development to build and retain highly motivated performance teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and organizational skills with all levels of internal and external organizations.
  • Mechanical aptitude in order to maximize product knowledge and help guide customers to solutions.
  • Systems proficiency including analytics in ERP and computer related systems.
  • Ability to travel 2-3 nights per week as needed.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Not eligible for relocation benefits.

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year degree preferred.
  • Hydraulic, bearings, and/or power transmission knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all business initiatives in 10-12 locations requiring 2-3 nights travel per week.
  • Provide strategic and tactical business leadership in the development and execution of the region's P&L, sales, and operations strategy.
  • Develop, lead, and implement the region’s P&L programs, strategic & tactical activities for multiple locations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the sellers in the region, including the creation of meaningful seller plans and funnel management.
  • Manage and grow existing and new customer opportunities using company business processes and cadence.
  • Manage all aspects of the region to meet customer needs and company profitability goals in headcount, inventory, margin, and net income.
  • Hire, train, & develop strong performing team players.
  • Prepare management reports and presentations as required.
  • Provide leadership by example and create a positive, dynamic, and fun work environment.
