Requirements

Documented success proactively managing P&L.
5+ years’ experience of proven strategic and tactical business leadership evaluating and implementing comprehensive customer service and sales programs and initiatives.
3+ yrs outside B2B sales experience. Industrial distribution preferred.
High school diploma required.
Demonstrated background in talent management and associate development to build and retain highly motivated performance teams.
Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and organizational skills with all levels of internal and external organizations.
Mechanical aptitude in order to maximize your product knowledge and help guide customers to solutions.
Systems proficiency including analytics in ERP and computer related systems.
Ability to travel 2-3 nights per week as needed.

Nice To Haves

Four-year degree preferred.
Hydraulic, bearings, and/or power transmission knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead all business initiatives in 10-12 locations requiring 2-3 nights travel per week.
Provide strategic and tactical business leadership in the development and execution of the region P&L, sales, and operations strategy.
Develop, lead, and implement the region’s P&L programs, strategic & tactical activities for multiple locations.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with the sellers in the region to include creation of meaningful seller plans and funnel management.
Manage and grow existing and new customer opportunities using company business processes and cadence.
Manage all aspects of the region to meet customer needs and company profitability goals in headcount, inventory, margin, and net income.
Hire, train, & develop strong performing team players.
Prepare management reports and presentations as required.
