Regional Behavioral Health Technician (Greenbrook)
About The Position
Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers is seeking a patient-focused regional technician to deliver life-changing TMS and esketamine therapies in their welcoming outpatient centers. This role offers an opportunity to grow skills, receive specialized training, and connect with patients. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm. The role is regionally based, covering centers in Beachwood, Independence, Fairlawn, Hudson, Westlake, and occasionally North Canton, as needed. Reliable transportation is required, and mileage reimbursement is provided for approved travel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, Medical Assistant certification, or equivalent clinical certification.
- Significant relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Strong clinical interviewing skills.
- Reliable personal transportation capable of facilitating movement to and between sites as operational needs dictate.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human Services field.
- At least one year of healthcare work experience.
- AdvancedMD and SalesForce experience.
- Knowledge of insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Administer TMS and esketamine treatments following clinical guidelines.
- Meticulously monitor patient responses.
- Administer and record psychiatric rating scales.
- Proactively address patient discomfort.
- Deliver empathetic and supportive care.
- Maintain accurate EHR.
- Manage patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and financial procedures.
- Understand and assist with insurance and billing processes as needed.
