About The Position
The Regional BD Manager develops and manages a portfolio of business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) customers within a specific geographic area. The role is with Marken, UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics, and focuses on building customer relationships, developing logistics solutions, and growing business across the portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
- Meet local age and operational requirements to operate a vehicle.
- Communication skills.
- Ability to travel with required documentation.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
- Provide a personal vehicle for business use.
- Be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the United States for this employer.
Responsibilities
- Search for and develop potential clients to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
- Contact prospective customers by telephone or email to gather initial information and arrange in-person appointments.
- Explore customer needs and present UPS services.
- Negotiate and prepare comprehensive logistics solutions for customers.
- Retain and grow business with active clients in the portfolio.
- Maintain client relationships, resolve problems, and manage sales activity across the portfolio.
- Monitor sales by drafting and updating reports and internal systems.
- Collaborate with broader UPS Healthcare representatives to support business growth.
