As a Regional Account Manager (EAST), you will be responsible for leading and implementing strategies to achieve optimal market access—including reimbursement, commercialization, evidence-based value, and patient affordability—across a remote, multi-state territory. In this role, you will collaborate with key external stakeholders such as payers, providers, policymakers, and reimbursement authorities, as well as internal cross-functional partners, to drive public channel growth. You will develop and execute value propositions throughout the product lifecycle, utilizing evidence-based differentiation to effectively communicate with Payers, Plans, HMOs, and IDNs, while supporting pricing and reimbursement through National PBM and GPO contracts. This position supports market access initiatives across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, ensuring strong engagement and successful execution within the healthcare and payer landscape throughout the Eastern region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs. Assoc.+11 yrs.; M.S.+4 yrs.; PhD+3 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Territories included: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

  • Build disease awareness with key partners, validated understanding of treatment initiation processes, patient identification etc.
  • Develop and implement strategic market access plans to achieve optimal reimbursement and commercialization
  • Lead cross-functional teams to align market access strategies with business objectives
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including payers, providers, and policymakers, to advocate for the value of the organization's products
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of reimbursement dossiers and other documentation
  • Monitor and respond to policy changes affecting market access and reimbursement
  • Drive evidence-based differentiation to optimize communication and execution of market access objectives
  • Collaborate with Global Market Access teams to localize studies, ensuring favorable impact on pricing, reimbursement, and market access
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership across multiple projects and teams, influencing overall business outcomes
  • Make high-level decisions impacting significant projects and initiatives, including approving major investments, partnerships, and strategic changes within the market access function
