About The Position

Flock is seeking a self-motivated and established outside sales professional to join their growing Public Sector sales team as a Regional Account Executive. This role focuses on a single market, with responsibilities including demand generation, partnerships, and full-cycle software sales. The position is 100% remote field sales, requiring up to 50% regional travel during peak seasons. Candidates must reside in the Texas territory.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of full cycle sales experience, with an emphasis on outside/field software sales.
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and produce results in a defined territory.
  • Experience using outbound sales strategies to develop new business within a defined territory.
  • Able to quickly digest and learn technical products, and become the subject matter expert for your clients.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Energized by solving customer's problems - e.g. consultative sales approach.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, data-driven sales environment.
  • Must live local to TX territory.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification as a condition of employment.
  • Must meet all FBI CJIS Security Policy requirements, including a fingerprint-based background check.

Responsibilities

  • Own demand generation, partnerships, and full cycle software sales within a defined territory.
  • Develop new business within a defined territory using outbound sales strategies.
  • Present and demonstrate Flock's technology to potential clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Flock's technical products.
  • Drive pipeline through outbound efforts, referrals, and territory development.
  • Create opportunities and close deals.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Participate in ride-alongs with current customers, community liaison officers, and dispatchers.
  • Complete meetings with net new logos.
