About The Position

Townsquare Media Group is seeking a Regional Account Executive to develop and expand partnerships with advertisers and advertising agencies. This role focuses primarily on radio advertising sales but also includes opportunities to incorporate digital marketing solutions and live event sponsorships. The ideal candidate is a consultative seller experienced in navigating complex advertising relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and creating customized marketing strategies to help clients achieve their business goals. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact while working with Townsquare's entire portfolio of brands.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of media sales experience (required)
  • Proven success managing regional and national accounts, agency relationships, or multi-market advertising campaigns
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of broadcast radio, digital media, audience targeting, attribution, and advertising strategy
  • Experience creating and presenting strategic marketing recommendations to decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts while proactively developing new business
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms, forecasting tools, and sales reporting systems
  • Self-motivated, consultative, and results-driven mindset
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and vehicle (required)
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong preference for candidates who have worked directly with advertisers, advertising agencies, and multi-market campaigns
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with advertisers and advertising agencies throughout your territory
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, driving revenue growth through strategic account planning, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities with brands and emerging advertisers
  • Develop customized, integrated marketing solutions utilizing radio, digital advertising, sponsorships, and live events
  • Conduct needs assessments and consult with clients to understand business objectives, target audiences, and marketing challenges
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and campaign recommendations backed by audience insights and market data
  • Partner with local market teams and internal subject matter experts to develop and execute successful advertising campaigns
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide ongoing reporting, optimization recommendations, and strategic guidance
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and account documentation within CRM systems
  • Stay current on industry trends, audience behavior, competitive offerings, and Townsquare's evolving suite of advertising solutions
