The Regional Account Manager (RAM) leads a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) and manufacturer representatives within an assigned region. The primary focus is on T&D utility customers, with responsibilities that include driving sales strategy development and execution, overseeing CRM utilization, and evaluating team needs to support sales growth initiatives. In addition to leadership responsibilities, the RAM directly manages 3–4 utility accounts that span multiple KAM territories, ensuring strategic alignment and consistent engagement across the region. The RAM sets priorities for managing high‑value accounts, ensures customer satisfaction at all levels—from technicians to executives—and is accountable for overall quota attainment within each territory. The role also requires close collaboration with KAMs, manufacturer reps, and Regional Business Unit Leads to align global and regional initiatives, strengthen the sales pipeline, and support the success of all Megger Business Units.
