About The Position

We’re looking for a Sales Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment, can drive revenue growth, and is passionate about building and leading a high-performing team. The Role This is a hands-on sales leadership role with direct responsibility for a sales team. You will be accountable for driving team performance, revenue growth, and consistent sales execution, while also shaping strategy, processes, and market expansion efforts. We’re looking for a leader who can coach, build structure, and drive accountability - while also stepping in to lead key opportunities and strategic accounts when needed.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or sales leadership
  • Proven experience leading and managing a technical sales team
  • Strong background in HVAC-R, mechanical contracting, or industrial construction
  • Solid understanding of industrial refrigeration systems
  • Demonstrated success managing long-cycle, complex technical sales
  • Experience with forecasting, CRM systems, and pipeline management
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Ontario (occasional cross-border travel may be required)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of 5 sales professionals and 2 inside engineers
  • Drive team performance, accountability, and consistent sales execution
  • Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy and growth plan
  • Personally lead high-value and strategic opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Foster collaboration between sales and inside engineering (estimating/applications)
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, verticals, and growth opportunities
