About The Position

The Refrigeration Proposal Specialist is responsible for all aspects of customer and sales force support for Refrigeration products, including new product selection and launch support. This role partners with Marketing to develop collateral material to increase Refrigeration product sales and create new tools for market share growth. The specialist will also assist in developing training and sales presentation materials for the sales force. Key activities include conducting proactive calls to the customer base to identify opportunities, explore new markets and customers, develop relationships, and uncover pain points. Collaboration with Territory Managers, Customer Experience Representatives, Proposal Specialists, and Store Managers is essential to educate customers on new incentives, products, and services. The role involves preparing reports for the segment business leader to assess market and customer share of wallet opportunities. Additionally, the specialist will pursue continued education in industry programs and represent the Refrigeration Segment and Company at vendor-sponsored training classes. Job site and customer visits are expected, with up to 30% travel anticipated.

  • Demonstrated ability to train others in the selling principles of Refrigeration products and solutions.
  • Ability to develop collateral material to support Refrigeration product line with the use of former Refrigeration application experience and knowledge.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office applications, specifically EXCEL).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports for segment business leader to determine areas of market share and customer share of wallet opportunities.
  • Elevate professional growth and development in continued education industry programs.
  • Represent Refrigeration Segment and Company at vendor sponsored product and technical training classes.
  • Job site and customer visits; up to 30% travel can be anticipated.
