About The Position

The Refrigeration Maintenance role monitors and maintains refrigeration equipment, identifies defects, prepares work orders, and maintains process safety management and other records according to standard operating procedures. The position works a 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. schedule on a four-day week and requires availability to work Sundays, weekends, and overtime when required. Employees must be able to work in hot, cold, and wet areas, follow safety rules and procedure manuals, and work with little or no supervision. Operators are required to participate in HAZMAT and confined-space training.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in refrigeration or industrial maintenance.
• Must pass a physical and a contingent background check.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good work and attendance record; responsible.
• Must have completed 90 days.
• Willing to work weekends, days or nights, and overtime when required; must be able to work Sundays.
• Able to follow instructions and work with little or no supervision.
• Able to work in cold and hot temperatures and wet areas.
• Able to perform moderate to heavy lifting, push and pull heavy equipment, and climb and work on platforms.
• Able to solve mechanical problems.
• Able to read and write basic English.

Responsibilities

• Keep records according to standard operating procedures.
• Follow safety rules while operating machinery and follow procedure manuals.
