About The Position

This position performs maintenance on delivery systems, steam boilers, thermal fluid heaters, HVAC equipment, enviro doors, ice machines, air compressors, and ammonia piping, valves, and equipment. The work may take place in hot and cold conditions. The employee learns and performs all aspects of the refrigeration department, including cleaning areas and equipment, taking temperatures and machine readings, maintaining compressor logs, and performing general refrigeration equipment maintenance. The role also requires learning the process safety management program, training in Hi-Tech machinery maintenance and operation, adapting to daily changes, and responding to emergencies when needed. The position is at Tyson's Sedalia Plant in Missouri and is scheduled for first shift.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.
Ability to pass and maintain Level 4 hazmat requirements.
Six months of industrial maintenance experience, including general knowledge of machinery maintenance and lubrication, and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Six months of industrial electrical and pumping experience; this experience must be documented on the Internal Discretionary Employment Application.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
