About The Position

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any refrigeration maintenance Tech position open. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. Internal candidates will be considered first, if none meet requirements we will move forward with qualified external candidates.

Requirements

• At least 6 months’ industrial refrigeration experience or be a recent graduate from an accredited school for industrial refrigeration
• Willing to work overtime and weekends
• Willing to work 6 days a week and 7 if production works on Saturday
• Ability to push, pull, or lift over 40 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders above 10 feet
• Ability to stand approximately 8.5 hours/day on a concrete floor
• Ability to complete computer-based training
• Ability to enter work into the SAP system
• Ability to use SCBA equipment
• Ability to pass a Level 4 pulmonary function test and physical
• Ability to be recertified each year to maintain position
• Must be clean shaven to get a proper fit while using SCBA equipment
• Must apply online using the Workday System
