About The Position
The Refrigeration/HVAC Supervisor oversees refrigeration and HVAC repair and maintenance activities, supports preventive maintenance efforts, supervises a team of more than 10 employees, and helps ensure work orders and emergency service needs are addressed in a timely manner.
Requirements
- EPA refrigeration certification.
- Refrigeration and HVAC experience.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of refrigeration and building controls, including light programming.
- Asset management experience or knowledge.
- Demonstrated core leadership skills.
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman refrigeration certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance associated with refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Complete work orders and apply corrective and preventive measures in a timely manner.
- Assist the maintenance team with repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Supervise and provide day-to-day leadership for a team of more than 10 employees.
- Participate in the supervisor on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
- Use knowledge of refrigeration and building control systems, including light programming, to support system operation and repairs.
- Support asset management activities related to refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
