About The Position

The Refreshment Route Driver at American Food & Vending makes timely deliveries on an established local route. The role involves loading and unloading a box truck, stocking refreshments, taking inventory, and interacting with customers and guests throughout the day. Drivers deliver products according to daily order schedules and check that vending machines and related equipment are clean and operating properly.

Requirements

• Possess a valid state driver's license in good standing.
• Be self-starting and motivated to work independently.
• Pass all DOT requirements, including age requirements in line with federal regulations set by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
• Be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Be able to lift, bend, walk, drive, and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products according to daily order schedules on an established route.
• Load and unload products from a box truck to point-of-sale locations.
• Stock products in vending machines, kiosks, micro markets, and beverage stations.
• Use a handheld device to take inventory, check expiration dates, and verify stock numbers.
• Verify that machines and equipment are clean and operating properly.
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers and account clientele.
