As a Refractive Surgical Consultant, you will work with the WaveLight suite, and any other WaveLight consumables or disposables. Work with the Account Managers and the Refractive team to ensure a smooth sales process, and product knowledge post sale covering the East region.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
5 Years of Relevant Experience

Nice To Haves

Advanced Ophthalmic surgical/technical skills and knowledge.
A demonstrated track record of proven sales achievements is highly preferred.
Experience consulting in an Operating Room (OR) setting.
Experience consulting with Refractive technologies.
Strong working knowledge of Refractive diagnostics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Regional on-label post-install sales support, and technical selling for WaveLight® products, with an emphasis on premium procedural selling
Work closely with Wavelight Managers (WM), and Division Manager (DM), and Refractive team to optimize sales initiatives, product adoption, and goals
Ability to consult with physician/surgeon, key opinion leaders (KOLs), key customer decision makers, and internal stakeholders
Maintain high level of technical knowledge on key existing and new surgical products
Accountable for assigned sales objectives for region
Responsible for Management Business Objectives (MBOs) assigned by management
