Referral Specialist I
About The Position
The Referral Specialist I position is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and works the first (day) shift. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of customer service experience. Medical terminology and Epic experience are preferred. The position is associated with Sentara Independence, an outpatient facility providing community services, including emergency care, advanced imaging, and physical therapy. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.73–$32.91 per hour. Pay within the range may vary according to qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Colleagues may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus when established system and employee eligibility criteria are met.
