About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is hiring a Referral Manager to represent the firm in the South Florida legal community. The role is aimed at an established attorney who can use their legal experience, reputation, and professional relationships to develop referral partnerships. The manager will meet with law firms in person, strengthen existing relationships, and explain how partnering with Morgan & Morgan can benefit firms and their clients.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary and an uncapped, performance-based bonus paid monthly. The role offers ownership of a territory and referral-partner portfolio, with income tied to referral generation and business results.

Requirements

• Active attorney license in good standing; Florida Bar membership preferred, and attorneys licensed in any state will be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the polish and presence to engage senior attorneys and firm leadership.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and skilled at managing time and priorities.
• Comfortable using data and metrics to track and drive performance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior business development, client development, or rainmaking experience.
• Established relationships with personal injury firms and attorneys in South Florida.

Responsibilities

• Proactively prospect and meet with law firms daily, in person, to develop new referral relationships.
• Serve as a peer-level resource, educating partners on Morgan & Morgan’s services, practice areas, and referral opportunities.
• Manage and grow an active portfolio of referral partners through consistent outreach and follow-up.
• Plan and organize a weekly schedule of new firm meetings, follow-up calls, and emails.
• Oversee referred matters to ensure they are handled efficiently and with care, protecting the trust of referral partners.
• Track and report key business development metrics.
• Attend sales meetings, internal training sessions, and firm events.
• Stay current on Morgan & Morgan’s practice areas, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Consistently meet and exceed lead generation and financial goals.
