About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare or administrative coordination role, preferably involving referrals or patient scheduling.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills daily to manage multiple referrals efficiently and ensure no details are overlooked.
• Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, providers, and insurance representatives to clarify information and resolve issues promptly.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and office software enables the coordinator to accurately document referral information and generate reports that support operational improvements.
• Attention to detail and knowledge of healthcare regulations ensure compliance and protect patient privacy throughout the referral process.
