About The Position

Ensures the Referrals made by the providers are processed to ensure our patients receive timely follow-up on their diagnosis.

Requirements

• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Microsoft Outlook
• Responsible for verification of patient’s insurance/coverage, authorization for referral and determination of specialist authorized for plan
• Maintenance of referral log to ensure proper tracking of the referral process
• Communication with patients regarding the status of pending referral(s)
• 1+ years experience preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Clean background and drug screen
