Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in business, nursing, or healthcare related field; OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in business, nursing or health care related field.
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate diversified and multiple activities, and make appropriate clinical and managerial decisions.
• Possess advanced problem solving and team building skills.
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of JCAHO standards of care.
• Knowledge of presentation preparation, such as PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate all the processing and coordination of patient referrals.
• Serve as an avid participant of the patient care team.
• Manage referral operations at assigned clinics.
• Establish and standardize systems and procedures for the distribution and use of health information throughout the organization.
• Coordinate referral functions with all other departments.
• Manage all aspects of Worker’s compensation referrals including scheduling, extending referrals, acting as a liaison with adjusters, and obtaining approval for additional office visits for patients.
