About The Position
TOMRA North America, a leading International Reverse Vending and Recycling Company, is seeking a Part-Time Redemption Center Associate for its Gloversville, NY location. This role involves assisting customers with the recycling of beverage containers, including bottles, cans, and plastic containers. Responsibilities include counting containers (manually or using technology), processing and storing them, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The associate will also operate a cash register to complete customer transactions.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Weekend Availability
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
- Experience in customer service field
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with recycling of bottles, cans and plastic beverage containers.
- Process and store bottles and cans in an orderly fashion.
- Keep a clean and safe work environment around all work areas.
- Count beverage containers manually or use technology.
- Use a cash register to complete customer transactions.
