About The Position

Burrtec is hiring a Recycling & Waste Services Coordinator for its Santa Clarita division. The role focuses on developing new business and recommending and coordinating recycling and waste services. The coordinator monitors accounts, analyzes and resolves account-specific problems, recommends service levels based on account needs and waste audit results, attends community meetings, plans recycling events and projects, and assists management with special projects.

Requirements

Strong presentation, networking, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivation and the ability to maintain sales activity focused on developing new business.
Ability to plan multiple projects from concept to completion.
Comfort with face-to-face sales situations and frequent people contact.
Excellent communication skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Previous sales experience is preferred.
Knowledge of the waste industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Identify sales opportunities and develop new business that generates new services.
Monitor accounts and recommend adjustments to service levels when appropriate.
Analyze and resolve specialty problems with accounts.
Make service recommendations based on waste audit results.
Attend community meetings as needed.
Plan and coordinate recycling-related special events and projects.
