About The Position

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt positions across the Bank. This role partners with hiring managers to post positions, source qualified candidates, screen applications, coordinate interviews, and assist with extending employment offers. The specialist also schedules and conducts new hire onboarding sessions, ensuring employees receive a welcoming and informative introduction to Wayne Bank's culture, policies, benefits, and employment requirements. Additionally, they coordinate pre-employment activities and onboarding logistics, maintain job postings, and ensure a positive candidate experience. The role involves developing candidate pipelines, coordinating participation in career fairs and recruiting events, and maintaining relationships with educational institutions and external partners. A key part of the role includes maintaining applicant tracking system records, preparing recruitment reports, ensuring compliance with employment laws and EEO requirements, and supporting continuous improvement of recruitment processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, or a related field required.
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable learning applicant tracking systems, virtual interviewing platforms, and recruitment software.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of recruiting practices and employment laws preferred.
  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment, coordinating interviews, and facilitating new hire onboarding preferred.
  • Customer service or banking experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities
