About The Position

Mediix Recruitment is an Australian healthcare recruitment company currently looking for a confident, well-spoken and motivated recruiter to work closely with the Principal Recruitment Consultant across our allied health desk. This represents a long-term opportunity for an individual who is proactive, well-organised, and genuinely enjoys engaging with others. The position offers significant potential for advancement to a managerial role as the team expands, contingent upon performance. You will be supporting recruitment across Australia, primarily working with physiotherapists, speech pathologists, podiatrists and occupational therapists.

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident speaking with candidates and clients over the phone
  • Outgoing, personable and professional
  • Can work independently and does not require constant supervision
  • Takes feedback and guidance well
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous recruitment experience working with clients in Australia / USA / Canada or England

Responsibilities

  • Speaking with candidates over the phone and screening suitability for roles
  • Candidate outreach
  • Writing and sending candidate profiles to clients
  • Assisting with management of permanent and locum candidates
  • Coordinating interviews and follow-ups
  • Formatting CVs
  • CRM/database management
  • General recruitment and administration support
  • Working closely with the Principal Consultant on day-to-day recruitment activities
