About The Position

The Healthcare Recruitment Manager will collaborate with and manage the recruitment account management team. This role involves building business relationships for job placement with employers within the healthcare sector in the five boroughs and supporting jobseekers and employers. The position requires meeting performance criteria, developing and executing marketing and business development plans, and maintaining relationships with community partners and local healthcare organizations. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining client account records, conducting outreach to healthcare facilities, developing communication strategies, and overseeing the validation process for center placements. Correspondence with the funder and representation at business development meetings are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrate communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract require
  • Working knowledge of MS Suite of services
  • Knowledge of On-the-Job Training processes
  • Knowledge of M/WBE programs and certifications
  • 3-5 years of sales/marketing experience
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare experience
  • Proven track record of strong customer service skills
  • Must be comfortable speaking with hiring managers at healthcare facilities
  • Must be able to multitask

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and manage recruitment account manager team
  • Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Develop and execute a marketing/advertising plan within the healthcare sector for new and existing businesses
  • Create and develop quarterly business development plans
  • Work in partnership with the community partner department to build and maintain relationships to generate inbound referrals and increase center traffic
  • Create and maintain complete records of client accounts, including detailed content on sales and service delivery activities for current and existing employers in the Microsoft Dynamics database
  • Maintain connections with local healthcare organizations for business education and cohort candidates
  • Contact employers by phone or in person to schedule face-to-face meetings to promote the suite of NYC Business Solutions services offered by the Healthcare Career Center
  • Oversee the validation process for center placements
  • Correspond with the funder as needed via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings
  • Represent the center at quarterly business development meetings
  • Identify and prioritize healthcare facilities in target markets and categorize based on clinical experience that may be available
  • Conduct outreach to healthcare facilities to determine appropriate decision makers regarding clinical affiliations and build long-term relationships
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to keep employers engaged during the hiring process
  • Support with center placement goals
