About The Position

The primary purpose of the Recruitment and Admissions Representative is to generate inquiries for Park University and support incoming students in navigating through the entire enrollment process to increase likelihood of attendance. The Recruitment and Admissions Representative works to grow brand awareness and student interest in Park University to yield a desired number of inquiries and applicants annually. This role will also work to maximize the number of students that start at the University. The Recruitment and Admissions Representative will identify potential students who want to start or further their education at Park University as well as initiate and nurture external and internal relationships that influence potential student decision making and increase the likelihood of student attendance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • The ability to be self-motivated while performing a number of different tasks.
  • Must be able to do research and detailed work.
  • Highly flexible, creative, and able to adapt to new project demands.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work on a non-traditional schedule, specifically evenings and weekends.
  • Access to reliable transportation and the ability to meet the requirements to be an approved Park University vehicle operator.
  • Reside in the assigned territory.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to candidates with advising, marketing, or sales experience.
  • Preference given to candidates with working knowledge and experience with a wide range of computer technology such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), databases, telephony and constituent relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Must be able to use specialized software, such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver enthusiastic Park University presentations and Gilbert Campus tours.
  • Collect inquiries from all outreach efforts and input on a daily basis.
  • Provide direction and support necessary to increase likelihood of student attendance and enable students to prepare for their first semester of class.
  • Build and implement a strategy and schedule that will create and foster relationships to grow brand awareness and generate student interest in Park University.
  • Provide on-campus (including partner-campus or multi-campus) communication with prospective students through phone calls, school visits, appointments, emails, text messages and other methods to build relationships and assist them with the application and enrollment process on a daily basis.
  • Promotes and represents the university at fairs and recruiting events as approved by the supervisor.
  • Responsible for inquiry generation and expected to provide student support throughout the enrollment process from inquiry to day ten of the student’s start term.
  • Communication and student engagement will be extremely important when transitioning students from non-matriculated to a matriculated status.
  • This includes attending, hosting, and executing open house and orientation events, data entry using the University CRM to assure students are admitted and attend Park.
  • This position will cross collaborate with athletic coaches support necessary to increase likelihood of student athlete attendance and enable students to prepare for their first semester of class.
