About The Position

The Recruitment Advisor will support the Human Resources team, focusing on full-cycle recruitment, assisting with union and non-union recruitment and onboarding activities, and responding to general HR inquiries. Requirements

  • Developmental knowledge of recruitment and selection practices and theories
  • Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, learning and motivation
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees and managers
  • Service and results oriented; proactive approach to recruiting and projects
  • Ability to occasionally travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with, and take direction from Recruitment Advisors and hiring managers to fill entry level and individual contributor level roles
  • Developing qualified candidate pool by sourcing, identifying and recruiting candidates to fill current and upcoming job openings across the business
  • Reviewing and evaluating candidates’ work history, education training and other qualifications to meet the Company’s qualifications
  • Identifying, source and present qualified candidates to the hiring manager to fill current and upcoming openings by determining best method(s) for recruiting
  • Coordinating the selection and hiring process, including appropriate paperwork, from application to hire
  • Develop an understanding of current and future manpower needs, research best practices and emerging trends and anticipate and react to shortages
  • Recommend the design and place strategy for employment advertisements, job postings, follow-up on employee referrals, research organizations or retain search firms as appropriate
  • Act as key liaison between recruiting team and business on internal transfers, ES Admin interaction and ATS at an elevated responsibility level from Recruitment Coordinator
  • Ensure policies and practices are followed and thoroughly explained to candidates and hiring managers as per NACG hiring policies and guidelines
  • Explain job duties/responsibilities, compensation and benefit programs, work schedule or special conditions, career and advancement opportunities and related information
  • Conduct new hire orientations
  • Other duties as assigned
