About The Position

Momentum Employer Group in Ogden, Utah is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting. This role focuses on finding, processing, and onboarding candidates to help clients build strong teams. The position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings in the Ogden area for collaboration and strategy.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience across multiple roles or industries
  • Experience using ATS and HRIS platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of hiring practices and employment compliance basics
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume recruiting environment
  • Strong confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Strong ability to manage multiple open roles at once
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships quickly
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to stay focused in a fast-moving, changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)
  • Experience with proactive sourcing and passive recruiting strategies
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and similar tools
  • Staffing agency or multi-client recruiting experience
  • Exposure to onboarding or HR support functions

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting from job posting through offer and onboarding
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, urgency, and ideal candidate profiles
  • Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and proactive outreach
  • Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in ATS and recruiting systems
  • Track candidate pipelines and provide regular status updates
  • Coordinate pre-employment steps including background checks and references
  • Support onboarding to ensure smooth transitions for new hires
  • Continuously improve candidate experience and recruiting processes
  • Represent Momentum professionally in occasional in-person meetings or recruiting events
  • Ensure compliance with hiring practices, documentation, and confidentiality standards
