About The Position

As a Recruiting Specialist within the retail trade industry, you will play a pivotal role in attracting and securing top talent to support our dynamic retail operations across the United States. Your primary focus will be to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience while aligning hiring strategies with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop targeted sourcing strategies, and implement effective recruitment campaigns. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying diverse talent pools and leveraging various recruitment channels to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Ultimately, your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of our retail teams by ensuring we hire individuals who embody our company values and drive exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and candidate assessment techniques.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for a wide range of retail roles including store associates, management, and corporate positions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume recruitment campaigns.
  • Knowledge of labor market trends specific to the retail sector.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Creole

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop comprehensive recruitment plans tailored to retail positions.
  • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, and background checks to ensure candidate suitability and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage the candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, providing timely feedback, and facilitating smooth onboarding processes.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and market trends to continuously improve sourcing strategies and optimize hiring outcomes.
