About The Position

The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for executing and administering Lookout Pest Control's recruiting process from end to end. This role ensures that every step of the hiring lifecycle — job postings, applicant flow management, interview scheduling, pre-employment processing, and onboarding administration — is handled accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner. Working closely with the VP of Human Resources and hiring managers across the company, the Recruiting Specialist is the operational backbone of the recruiting function, with a strong emphasis on keeping candidate activity moving, maintaining data integrity in ADP Workforce Now, and delivering positive candidate experience throughout the process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field — or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in recruiting, sourcing and/ or HR Generalist positions.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred; HRIS/ATS proficiency required
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Clear, professional communication with a candidate-first mindset
  • Familiarity with background checks, drug screens, and MVR review
  • Working knowledge of EEO and E-Verify compliance

  • PHR/SHRM-CP (or in progress) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish job postings across all channels. Keep postings accurate and up to date. Open, maintain, and close requisitions in ADP Workforce Now in coordination with the VP of HR and hiring managers.
  • Monitor inbound applicant flow, advance qualified candidates, and ensure all applicants are dispositioned in compliance with recordkeeping requirements. Keep hiring managers updated on pipeline activity.
  • Schedule phone, and in-person interviews. Confirm logistics with all parties, and follow up with hiring managers for timely feedback.
  • Serve as the primary candidate contact from application through offer or declination. Communicate promptly and professionally at every stage.
  • Initiate and track background checks, drug screens, and MVR checks. Follow up on outstanding items and escalate issues to the VP of HR as needed.
  • Prepare offer letters for review and execution. Upon acceptance, complete new hire entry in ADP Workforce Now accurately and ahead of the start date.
  • Coordinate new hire logistics from offer acceptance through day one, including paperwork, systems setup, and orientation. Support onboarding administration during acquisitions.
  • Track referrals, coordinate payouts with payroll, and promote the program internally.
  • Maintain accurate ATS data and support reporting on open requisitions, applicant volume, time-to-fill, and source of hire.
