We are currently seeking a Recruiting Specialist Intern to support our recruiting team here at Katapult Network during the summer of 2027. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
- Extroverted: outgoing and assertive with a social personality
- Communication: express ideas clearly in both written and verbal correspondence, listen effectively, and share information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization
- Organizing and planning: develop specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work in a timely manner
- Persistent: seek personal growth and hit metric goals, even in the face of opposition. Take calculated risks to ensure completion of assigned tasks
- Reliable: project a sense of trustworthiness and dependability
Responsibilities
- Effectively and efficiently source and screen candidates
- Responsible for building networks of entry-level candidates through college recruiting activities
- Help in preparing candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, business strategy, department background, job descriptions and establishing expectations
- Maintain positive relationship with applicants through entire recruitment process to ensure high quality of candidate experience
- Perform detailed reference checks on selected candidates and review results with hiring managers and executive team
- Hold phone and in-person interviews with candidates to ensure their qualifications meet job requirements
- Manage and maintain the recruiting pipeline and Talent Block
- Partner with your direct Account Manager and internal team to identify correct candidate targets
- Review resumes for appropriate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Utilize an automated applicant tracking system in compliance with staffing requirement to support the recruitment process
